My name is Irina and I am the founder of OliviaR. OliviaR was born from a deeply personal place. Three years ago, I experienced the heartache of miscarriage. I had never thought that my journey to parenthood would be anything other than straightforward—getting pregnant was supposed to be simple, intuitive and altogether human.

When I received the news of my miscarriage, I felt very alone. It was hard to explain the heartbreak that I was going through. Upon doing more research and reaching out to my community, I heard stories of countless other women and parents who had experienced the same kind of loss. I felt reassured and no longer as isolated in my grief. I began to realize that—much like parenthood itself—the path to becoming a parent would be anything but linear.
